SFI Award for Outstanding Contribution to STEM Communication

Last November Cell EXPLORERS saw their founding Director Muriel Grenon reap the rewards of years of hard work spent building the network of Cell EXPLORERS teams that exist today.

At the Science Foundation of Ireland Awards Ceremony 2019, Muriel won an award for her outstanding contribution to STEM communication in Ireland. According to Muriel, she is sharing the award with the 1200 volunteers that have been delivering activities as part of the network since 2012. She would like to extend her thanks to all of the amazing past and present HEI coordinators, true science role models!
