NUI Galway stall at BT Young Scientist & Technologist Exhibition

Cell EXPLORERS represented NUI Galway Science at the BTYSTE again this year! The BTYSTE ran from the 7th-9th in the RDS in Dublin. 11 Cell EXPLORERS team members ran the stall, extracting DNA from bananas, running an introduction-to-microscopes activity and chatting to young students and their parents about science and studying science at NUI Galway. We had a great time meeting some of the scientists of the future! Thanks to all the team members that helped managed the stall over the three days. And thanks to everyone who came to talk to us about science at NUI Galway!

The BT Young Scientist and Technologist Exhibition started yesterday with judging of the student projects at the RDS in Dublin. Today until Saturday the exhibition is open to the public! Cell EXPLORERS will be representing Science at NUI Galway. If you are visiting the exhibition make sure to stop by our stall to extract DNA, use miscroscopes to investigate living things and learn all about studying science at NUI Galway!
