Funded Postgrad Position in Science Education

Applications are invited for a full-time PhD scholarship in Science Education. The doctorate will consider the role of higher education institutions as an outreach provider of science to formal education, and best practice in this regard.

The candidate will be based in the College of Science and integrated within the Cell EXPLORERS outreach programme team in the School of Natural Sciences. This project is a joint project between the School of Education and the School of Natural Sciences (SNS) at the National University of Ireland Galway.

The scholarship of 16000 euros per year includes both stipends and the payment of full time PhD fees over the four years of the structured doctorate programme and is funded by NUI Galway University Foundation. Note that Part-Time PhD cannot be facilitated.
