The story of our orange and purple Logo

Our beautiful bright purple and orange logo has been designed for us by Michelle Campion when she was a Master student at NUi Galway. In addition of being a scientist, Michelle is also a very generous person and a talented artist - check her facebook page and her website! Thanks Michelle we really love our logo!

"During my Masters in NUIG (2013-14) I created a logo for the startup biomedical science programme known as Cell EXPLORERS. The Cell EXPLORERS programme, created in NUI Galway’s School of Natural Sciences, is based on a volunteering model where science students and staff give their time to spread their love of science with children. The programme aims to inform, inspire and involve the children in modern biology and biomedical sciences. It has been a privilege to watch them grow from strength to strength over the years, taking my logo along with them . NUI Galway’s CELL EXPLORERS is now working in partnership with the University of Limerick (UL) and Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT).
