A national primary and secondary school science video competition run in partnership with Cell EXPLORERS. Check out the ReelLife Science You Tube channel for past winners and entries. The competition runs early in the school year with the awards ceremony taking place at the Galway Science and Technology Festival Exhibition Day at the end of November each year.
Kitchen Chemistry is a science outreach programme based in the School of Chemistry in NUI Galway. They aim to engage children in the wonders of chemistry through school roadshows and workshops using fun, hands-on experiments. Kitchen Chemistry and Cell EXPLORERS often combine to run activities such as the Scientist for a Day Workshops and Youth Academy courses.
