Cell EXPLORERS at the Big Day Out

We were delighted to be a part of the SFI Science Zone at the St. Patrick's Festival Big Day Out in Merrion Square this year! Last Sunday Cell EXPLORERS ran the two hands on science workshop tents at this event. One marquee ran Little Cells workshops for younger children and the other ran the Fantastic DNA session for older children. We had an amazing team of Cell EXPLORERS volunteers on the day, including two members of the Cell EXPLORERS Athlone IT team, Emma and Andrew. Thank you to everyone who came to our workshops, to the St. Patrick's Festival organisers for having us, and to the amazing St. Patrick's Festival Big Day Out volunteers who also helped us throughout the day.
